Following a busy summer of live music and packed audiences at Electric Picnic, Forest Fest and King John’s Castle, Hermitage Green have announced their Winter Tour 2026, bringing the band to venues across Cork, Tipperary, Limerick and Kilkenny this October and December.

The tour rounds off a significant year for the Limerick band as they celebrate 15 years together, with a series of live dates that will take them right through to the end of December.

Tickets for the Winter Tour go on sale Friday, 4 September at 9am.

Over the past 15 years, Hermitage Green have built a dedicated following in Ireland and internationally, developing a distinctive sound that brings together folk, rock and traditional influences, rich vocal harmonies and energetic multi-instrumental performances.

Their 2024 album, Connection, marked another chapter in the band’s evolution. The project saw Hermitage Green expand their creative world through collaborations with acclaimed author Gregory David Roberts, best known for Shantaram, and multimedia artist Bobby Fingers. The album brought together storytelling, emotional depth and musical experimentation while retaining the sound and musicianship at the heart of Hermitage Green.

Live performance has remained central to the band throughout their career, and recent years have seen them continue to play to audiences in Ireland and further afield.

Following their appearance at Electric Picnic in 2024, Hermitage Green played a sold-out show at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre. An impromptu post-show singalong with actor Paul Rudd also became a viral moment watched around the world.

The band later set a new personal record with five consecutive sold-out shows at St Luke’s in Cork, another indication of the loyal live following they have built over the years.

A Packed Summer for Hermitage Green

2026 has been another major year on the road for Hermitage Green.

In May, the band returned to their native Limerick to headline King John’s Castle for the sixth time, bringing their live show back to one of the city’s most impressive settings. This was followed by a three-night residency at Whelan’s in Dublin.

The summer festival season continued with Forest Fest, where Hermitage Green took to the stage as part of the 2026 festival in Emo, Co. Laois.

Most recently, they returned to Stradbally for Electric Picnic, marking an impressive 15 years of playing the festival. Hermitage Green performed on the Rankin’s Wood stage, where a huge crowd turned out for their set.

From King John’s Castle to Forest Fest and Electric Picnic, the summer has underlined the connection Hermitage Green continue to have with live audiences as they celebrate their 15th year together.

From Ireland to North America

Hermitage Green’s following extends well beyond Ireland. The band have completed extensive tours across the United States and Canada, bringing their distinctive blend of instruments, harmonies and high-energy performances to audiences throughout North America.

International touring has become an important part of the Hermitage Green story, while their Irish shows continue to bring them back to venues and festivals around the country.

Now, following a packed summer schedule, the focus turns to their newly announced Winter Tour.
