One of Ireland’s most influential voices in dance music, Jenny Greene, returns to the stage this September with Balearic Nights, a special live show at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Saturday 12 September. Known for her ability to create unforgettable nights on the dancefloor, Jenny’s latest production promises a celebration of late-night energy, uplifting sounds and the music that has shaped generations of club culture in Ireland.

A Defining Voice in Irish Dance Music

For almost 25 years, Jenny Greene has been at the centre of Ireland’s electronic music scene. She first came to national attention at just 17 years of age on the legendary Pulse FM, quickly establishing herself as one of the country’s most respected and versatile DJs.

By the age of 21, she had already secured her place in the Guinness World Records for the longest DJ set ever performed, a sign of the drive and passion that would define her career from the very beginning.

Today, her Electric Disco show on RTÉ 2FM remains one of the most recognisable dance music broadcasts in Ireland. For more than 18 years, it has introduced listeners to classic anthems and new favourites alike, helping shape Ireland’s modern club soundtrack.

From Clubs to Concert Halls

Jenny Greene’s career has taken her from underground club booths to major festival stages and sold-out theatres. She has performed at every major Irish festival, including Electric Picnic, All Together Now, Beyond the Pale, Indiependence, Púca Festival and Wild Roots, sharing stages with internationally renowned artists such as Basement Jaxx, Annie Mac and Leftfield.

Her collaboration with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra brought dance music to entirely new audiences, reimagining classic tracks with a full orchestral sound and selling out arenas across Ireland. In 2025, she continued to expand her creative reach with a fully produced headline show at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre, further demonstrating her ability to connect with audiences in every setting.

The Rave Cave That Lifted a Nation

During the lockdown period in 2020, Jenny created something truly special. Broadcasting live DJ sets from her now well-known Rave Cave, she streamed simultaneously on RTÉ 2FM and YouTube, bringing people together through music at a time when connection mattered more than ever.

Those sets became a shared national moment, reminding audiences across Ireland of the power of music to lift spirits and create community.

What to Expect from Balearic Nights

With Balearic Nights, Jenny Greene brings her signature sound back to one of Dublin’s most iconic venues. The show promises an atmosphere inspired by classic late-night dance culture, combining timeless favourites with carefully selected tracks designed to keep audiences moving from start to finish.

Whether performing in packed arenas, festival fields or intimate theatre settings, Jenny Greene’s ability to read a crowd and create a shared experience is what sets her apart.

Live at 3Olympia Theatre This September

Balearic Nights arrives at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Saturday 12 September, offering fans the chance to experience one of Ireland’s most respected DJs in a special live setting.

Jenny Greene continues to evolve as an artist while staying rooted in what has always defined her career: a deep connection with audiences and a lifelong passion for the music she loves.
