The Wonder Stuff Announce Live Show at Dolans Warehouse, Limerick

Alternative rock favourites The Wonder Stuff are set to return to Ireland this summer with a headline show at Dolans Warehouse, Limerick on Saturday 25 July 2026. The performance forms part of the band’s 40th anniversary touring year, celebrating four decades of music, touring and connection with audiences across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Celebrating 40 Years of The Wonder Stuff

Formed in Birmingham and the Black Country in 1986, The Wonder Stuff quickly became one of the defining alternative rock bands of their generation. Between 1988 and 1994, they released four Top 20 albums and fifteen Top 20 singles, building a loyal following through a distinctive blend of sharp songwriting, driving guitars and memorable hooks.

Their catalogue includes fan favourites such as The Size of a Cow, Welcome To The Cheap Seats with Kirsty MacColl, and the Number One single Dizzy, recorded with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.

Throughout this period, the band toured extensively across the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Australia and Japan, establishing a reputation as one of the most compelling live acts of their era. Highlights included selling out four consecutive nights at London’s Brixton Academy and headlining Reading Festival.

A Band Built for the Stage

Live performance has always been at the centre of The Wonder Stuff’s story. Even after lineup changes and pauses along the way, the band returned in 2000 and have continued to record and tour consistently, releasing albums including Escape From Rubbish Island, Suspended By Stars, Oh No… It’s The Wonder Stuff, 30 Goes Around The Sun, and Better Being Lucky.
